Volunteer Guidelines & Code of Conduct

Global Smart Citizens Foundation is dedicated to promoting awareness, cooperation, and positive social impact. We welcome individuals who wish to contribute towards meaningful social initiatives and community development.

The following guidelines are designed to ensure a smooth, respectful, and impactful volunteering experience for everyone.

1. Spirit of Volunteering

Volunteers are encouraged to participate with a genuine intention of social service and contribute positively towards community welfare and awareness.

Positive & Respectful Behaviour

Volunteers are expected to maintain polite, respectful, and responsible behavior while interacting with individuals, communities, and fellow team members.

Representing the Foundation

While participating in activities, volunteers are encouraged to uphold the values and positive image of the Foundation in a responsible manner.

Use of Name & Identity

The Foundation’s name, logo, or materials may be used for social initiatives and awareness activities with prior approval, ensuring proper and appropriate usage.

Financial Transparency

To maintain transparency, any fundraising or financial activity related to the Foundation should be conducted with prior approval and proper coordination.

Ethical Communication

Volunteers are encouraged to share accurate information and avoid any misleading communication while representing the Foundation.

Safety & Awareness

Volunteers are advised to take reasonable care of their personal safety and follow applicable guidelines during activities and events.

Team Collaboration

Working together with coordination and timely communication helps create a more effective and enjoyable volunteering experience for everyone.

Following Guidelines

Volunteers are requested to follow the Foundation’s guidelines and instructions during programs, events, and initiatives.

Voluntary Participation

Participation in the Foundation is entirely voluntary and driven by the spirit of social contribution and community service.

Participation Commitment

Volunteers are encouraged to contribute a few hours each month towards activities, campaigns, or awareness programs, based on their availability.

Program Discipline

Following schedules and basic instructions during events helps ensure smooth execution of activities.

Additional Terms & Notes

Activity Coordination

Volunteers are encouraged to coordinate with the team before organizing or conducting any activity under the Foundation’s name..

Use of Materials

All official materials such as banners, IDs, and documents should be used appropriately for social and awareness purposes.

Positive Representation

Maintaining a positive and respectful public image helps strengthen the impact and credibility of the Foundation.

Participation Review

From time to time, participation and engagement may be reviewed to ensure alignment with the Foundation’s objectives.

Volunteer Registration Contribution

A nominal one-time contribution of ₹100 may be made at the time of onboarding to support basic administrative activities, volunteer coordination, and social initiatives of the Foundation.

This contribution is voluntary in nature and helps in maintaining and improving the overall functioning of volunteer programs.

It does not represent any fee for employment or guarantee any financial benefit.

Acceptance

By joining as a volunteer, individuals acknowledge and agree to follow the above guidelines in the spirit of responsible and positive social contribution.
